Weeeeeeeeird

The strangest thing just happened. See, Rik and ST told me that this blog was all black. So i checked it out.... and the whole screen was turned black and empty. It was soooooo odd. So i changed the template to this one, hoping that would help. (well first i posted that last post.) When i hit the "view blog" button, it was still all black. I closed that and did it again in hopes that it had just messed up once and if i told it to load again it woud be ok. But it was still black. So i decided to do something i've been meaning to do for a while- i started a seccond blog. Then i checked out some other stuff, and then went back to my old blog and... MIRACLE OF MIRACLES - IT"S WORKING AGAIN!!!!!! Yay!!!!!
I think i'll change the template tomorrow. And do whatever else. It's late, my mom is over my shoulder, i'm going to bed.
Goodnight!!!!!

What am I?

You Are Half Baked Ice Cream

In reality, you're just a quarter baked

What's with that? Half baked Ice Cream? And they could figure that out from my NAME?? Seriously, couldn't they have asked me a little more about myself?

You are a Boston Creme Donut

You have a tough exterior. No one wants to mess with you.
But on the inside, you're a total pushover and completely soft.
You're a traditionalist, and you don't change easily.
You're likely to eat the same doughnut every morning, and pout if it's sold out.

Very true. Anyone wanna get me the donut i am???

La la la la la

I want ice cream. I'm not really in such a good mood. I just want a BIG BIG bowl of it and a good book to wallow in. humph.

It's been a while since i've posted anything - mostly because i have nothing to say. Nothing is happening here. Shiffy and I tried to do this thing where we are birthday party planners, so that parents of little kids can give us some money to plan and run their kid's party. I sent an e-mail to jewish sharon, i put up flyers in the library, but no one has e-mailed me OR called Shif! It's SOOOO frustrating.
I wish i met new people. I never do, and it really frustrates me. I want to meet new ppl, and hang out and do normal things instead of sitting around doing nothing. I never go anywhere, never do anything. The only ppl i ever meet are my bro's friends. And we all know where hanging out with them gets me. (ok not everyone knows, so i'll just say - a BAD depressing rotten situation. yuck.) I wish i had.... never mind. Some of you know how to finnish that statement, good. Some of you don't - it's better that way.
If you want to know what i've been doing lately - going to the library. Reading. Shopping for stupid button down shirts for school (don't get me starten on the new dress code).
Ok, now i'll shut up before i get myself into trouble.

And here goes - all about my trip... my longest post EVER!!!!!

Last night i got home from a week and a half visiting grandparents, eating ice cream, sitting in a car, not checking my e-mail or blog, getting taned and (mostly) burned, swimming, dancing and getting MASSIVE blisters so that i could barely walk the next day, and generally not being at home.

now i'll give u a full account. sorry u have to read this whole thing!!!
day 1 monday - drove shifra to NY to fly to israel for the summer. Some ppl have all the luck. Got her cell phone!! IM me for the #. Only use it after 8 tho. got to DC (my dad's ps live there) rly late at nite.
day 2 tues. - it rained. And rained and rained and rained and rained. Went to see Over the Hedge - rly rly funny movie. my uncle (the one with kids, tho they werent there - they were at their mom's) came to dinner - he's a rly cool guy - a lot of fun, always joking and keeping us laughing.
day 3 wed. - went swimming in my grandparent's pool. got rly burned/tanned. I'm almost as dark as shiffy! yay! also my ps 25th anniversary - we had a big dinner. both of my dad's bros came. fun fun.
day 4 thurs - drove to baltimore to visit my other grandparents. my dads parents came along for dinner, and we all ate out at a chinese place. the one h drive took us ~2.5h. oh well.
day 5 fri - hung out, went to the hat store with my mom
day 6 shabbos - walked ~1 mi to shul. got big blisters, could barely walk durring the afternoon.
day 7 sun. - SARAH'S BRO'S WEDDING!!!!!!!!! it was an awesome wedding. really really great. danced a ton. (my grandparents told me before i left to dance a lot... and maybe i'd get a boyfriend. their concept of dancing at a wedding is slighly different than ours.... my Ps and i kinda just rolled our eyes. lol) i couldnt really walk afterward cuz of my feet, but... man, i have to get new shabbat shoes. the two inch heel is nice, but....
day 8 mon. - drove back to DC. stoped in the district to see the Museum of the American Indian. Not so impressive. Also went to East Wing of the National Gallery of Art. Didn't look at any of the art, it's all too weird for me. Looked at all of the arcitecture of the building. It's AMAZING. There are no right angles (90 degrees, normal angles in buildings) in the whole building. One of the corners comes to a really sharp point even! It's really amazing. Y'all should go see it - just ignore the art. The coolest part is the pathway to the west wing. They have an underground tunnel, under the street. In it there's a ppl mover - u know how elevators go? So instead it's flat. It's really cool!!!! and when you aro outside, you see these glass triangle things sticking out of the groung in front of the west wing. When u get accross the tunnel, you look up and they are the skylights in the cafe!!! It's so cool!!!! Even tho I've been there b4 - it's rly cool!
day 9 tues. july 4th - fixed mrs. shectman's mom's train layout which belonged to her husband who died so that they could use it. Then we went to see fireworks at night. I wore sunglasses that my uncle got me. On the sides there are red and blue flashing lights. They're very cool.
day 10 wed. - drove home. spent the whole day at it. yuck. listened to the westing game on tape. very very good book. if you havent read it yet, read it!!!!
today is thursday. I slept in, then hung out with shiffy and sarah. It was good to sleep in my own bed, not the dusty narrow sofa i had in baltimore at my uncle's, or even the bed at my grandparent's. I missed my pillow. waaaa! lol.

If you read down this far... I am amazed that anyone listened to me for this long without being forced to. If you did, tell me and i'll give you a medal. It'll say on it "To a great person who was stupid enough to read my whole blog, who obviously also has no life, since reading it probably took a couple hours."

I am also sorry to say that this blog may have to be discontinued - my dad found it and is planning on reading it. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think i'll put that in a new post, since no one is going to read to the bottom of this anyway.... I really didn't mean for this to be so long!!!!!!!!!
